M.C. HAMMER? Yes that's right, the slick dancing machine is back, but not as you may remember him. The outdated outfits are gone and have been exchanged for the more lets just say "slick" hip look of rappers. Also at first glance he may be hard to recognize due to the missing glasses and lose of hair, or so it looks like. No more crazy haircuts, its just plain old bold for this veteran rapper.
Now what everybody's been dying to know is how he's been paying off his wild shopping spree that caused him and many more, bankruptcy? The answer is he's been spending a lot of time in the studio writing and recording new hits such as "Aint no Stoppin us" climbing the Billboard charts and the music video debuted on BET December 15. Also coming out in perfect time with the movie "Too Legit" where Romany Malco plays MC Hammer.
Romany wears the genie pants well, but a lousy script and inexperienced supporting actors doom the movie.
The movie is definitely more like "you can't watch this" then "you can't touch this."
But, throughout the whole ordeal Hammer always thanks God and knows if he ever goes bankrupt again he can go back to preaching in church. As the VH1 movie shows that Hammer transformed the whole religious aspect of church into the idea of a rap concert.
We think, "very spiritual."
VH1 isn't known for making the best movies, but this one is just terrible. The movie which debuted December 19th doesn't make much sense. Jumps from scene to scene, supporting acting just "sucks", and TuPac. You have to watch the movie to understand. Lets just leave it, that in the movie TuPac and Hammer acted as best friends.
We don't see any chemistry there.
But what we do see is M.C. Hammer getting noticed and fighting to get back into the game. His too legit attitude is still there but dancing has changed a little bit from the crazy genie pants dancing, to the bouncing up and down, back and forth, as noticed in the "Ain't No Stoppin Us" video. It's shown that Hammer can't be stopped, that's the truth, he just still doesn't know when there is no money left.
